Insights Unlocked Launch
As Senior Manager of Content Production for Videos and Podcasts, I oversaw the launch and growth of Insights Unlocked, a B2B podcast for UserTesting
Project Leadership & Strategic Management
- Strategic Rebranding: I managed the transition and consolidation of legacy shows from UserTesting and UserZoom into the unified Insights Unlocked brand, which officially launched on July 17, 2023.
- Partner Coordination: I served as a primary lead and final approver for deliverables , coordinating with the creative production studio Pod People to manage a standardized 8–10 week pre-launch timeline and a 4-week post-launch wrap.
- Workflow Optimization: I oversaw a complex project workflow encompassing strategy development, name and other branding considerations and audience testing, booking guests, episode preparation, production and post production, campaign execution, and ongoing post-launch analysis.
Podcast Production & Creative Direction
- Show Format Innovation: I directed the production of two distinct episode structures: Q&A shows, which I hosted alongside guest experts, and Narrative shows, which used storytelling to reveal solutions to specific customer insight challenges.
- Content Production: I maintained a rigorous weekly publishing cadence. By 2026, I had scaled production to weekly episodes, resulting in a total catalog of 207 episodes under my guidance.
- Cost Efficiency: I demonstrated significant fiscal responsibility by producing the show internally rather than through an external agency, saving the organization six figures in production costs in 2024 alone.
Marketing, Writing & Data-Driven Growth
- Performance Excellence: Under your management, the show exceeded its initial 50,000-download goal by 14.5% in its first season and reached 230,102 downloads in 2024 (117% of that year’s goal).
- 2025 was a banner year for Insights Unlocked: Our podcasting efforts resonated deeply, leading to a doubling of our audience year-over-year
. And total downloads for the year surpassed 550,000, with an average of over 4,200 downloads per week . - Chart Success: Guest strategy and promotion strategies helped drive the show to the #1 spot on the Apple Technology charts (three times) and #25 on the Apple Top Shows chart (out of over 3 million shows).
- Pipeline Generation: Podcast production directly impacted the sales funnel, engaging hundreds of open opportunities and generating seven figures in multi-touch attribution pipeline. This resulted in an 46X ROI.
