Ever wonder if some businesses actually want to help their customers? It is something I think about a lot and why I have been working as a content marketing freelancer for more than a decade. It begins with my pledge to my clients:

My goal is to help make you and your business successful.

I am looking to have a long-term relationship with you and your business. That could mean working with you on a specific project, having an ongoing business relationship, or joining your network (professional or personal) and being able to have lunch or a beer together today, tomorrow and into the future.

Check out this YouTube video of me getting Tasered by the Washington State Patrol.

It was filmed in the summer of 2007, when I was working for the Tri-City Herald newspaper in eastern Washington and reporting on how the troopers first had to get Tasered before being issued the weapons. As a reporter, I went the extra mile to report accurately on a story.

One of my favorite things about being a reporter was being able to learn about all the different voices in my community and their many stories. It is also one of the things I love most about working with my clients. They are all doing some pretty awesome things in their respective corners of the galaxy.

There were campaign videos for school bonds and statewide initiatives. There was video tracking at campaign stops for elected officials. I helped a billion-dollar public SaaS company with creating their email nurture program. And I have helped a retired Vietnam veteran tell the stories of her peers.

I’ve worked with a Real Estate couple for more than six years and, in addition to filming monthly videos, I have been witness to seeing their children grow into young adults. And they have been there on my journey in becoming a parent. That is pretty cool.

I create videos, podcasts, blog posts, eBooks, emails and so much more for my clients. And is a blast.

Like getting Tasered for a story, I will go the extra mile for you and your business, too!
