This is my story
I am an expert content marketer. I work fast. And I deliver.
Over the years, I have volunteered to be Tasered (pic above), hiked in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark, and turned down offers to go riding with outlaw motorcycle bikers. I have interviewed thousands of people from all walks of life, ranging from double murderers to the Vice President and everyone in between.
In short, I have found innovative ways and gone the extra distance to research and share engaging, authentic stories to diverse audiences locally, regionally, and beyond.
My journalism work has appeared in The Oregonian, the Associated Press, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Tri-City Herald, Longview Daily News, and U.S. News and World Report. I also publish the local news podcast, NOPO This Week, focused on North Portland.
My content marketing work includes such brands as: UserTesting, SheerID, ViewPoint, Swan Island Networks, Act-On Software, ReelDx, Directors Mortgage, Veracity, SecureWorld, Ashley Realty Works, Civic Software Foundation, Hack Oregon, Kona Kids Dental, OpConnect, as well as dozens of other businesses and nonprofits.
Before journalism and my career in marketing, I honorably served in the US Navy on board the submarine USS Baltimore (look USS Baltimore up on Wikipedia and you will see a picture of me).
